How to care for your skin in winter
Taking care of your skin can be a tough task. With the low temperatures, ice, snow and wind your skin is left dry and this results in roughness, cracked patches and chafing. And this makes skin care during the winters all the more important. A few tips on winter skin care can come in handy for you.
Make sure that during the winter days you use a humidifier. When the air is dry your skin will also become dry. So if you keep adequate moisture in the air, your skin will benefit. During the winter, say goodbye to soaps and opt for mild cleansers instead. A cleanser with aloe vera should be your ideal choice.
Make sure that you moisturize your skin frequently. Apply moisturizer after you step out of the shower. You should concentrate on your hands, feet, elbow and knees. Use sun-screen that is especially made for the winters. Drink 8 glasses of water daily, have warm tea and warm food.
