Health is about living moment to moment and a workout is not necessarily an antidote for negative energy. The body market has arrived as it is tangible, though the emotional circuits have been ignored. People, who build emotional wealth and sweat it out, perform better in their lives.

The four things that a man is composed of is his emotional, mental, social and physical state. Except for the last one, all the remaining three are related to the state of your mind. It is hence imperative that they are well taken care of. The young generation is now more educated and conscious towards this aspect of the health. But ironically they are also the most stressed. Exercising and eating healthy are good and necessary for both physical and emotional well being. But some individuals adhere and practice these concepts in a potentially unhealthy manner. For example fixation of weight loss and diet, exercising when one is not well, compromising excessively on work and/or social life etc.

The end result is that no matter how much you work, if you are not all there in your mind, you are not all there in your body.

In a world obsessed with fitness and where everyone wishes to lose weight by all means, most are unaware that if you are emotionally unstable, hitting the treadmill is not the best answer. You might not be losing as much weight as you would believe, because your emotional state of mind plays a vital role in how your body responds to physical exercises.

Emotions are generated in the mind and that’s the organ of your body that rules the roost. This is the reason that psychologists opine that minds exercises are as important as physical exercises. When you are all worked up and are still working out, the body releases a stress hormone called cortisol. Then, you feel more fatigued rather than feeling rejuvenated. And in times of depression, you can never lose weight, no matter how much you work out your body.

The condition of the mind the body is not mutually exclusive. Both are dependent on each other. The synchrony of the orchestra of the human body is more important then the focus on individual organs or muscles. Emotional exercising along with a workout is magical and can ensure holistic health.
