Small babies have their skin very sensitive as it is still in its formation, though already providing a protective covering to the body of the baby. Such skins are too sensitive to use any kind of product on them. A range of product lines appear in the market each claiming to help your baby’s skin grow and nourish properly. However, do not just go by the claims. Check the ingredients.

Most commonly used products are soaps and moisturizers. Make sure that these soaps and moisturizers do not contain anything artificial, not even petro-chemicals that are common in the lotions. For better care of the baby’s skin, go for the natural products. Check out what all is included in the product and avoid anything you find chemical.

Go for soaps that are manufactured using natural oil extracts or neem. While buying lotions etc, you can include rosewater and aloe. These are natural oils that help in proper care of infant skin while at the same time offering it with the elements it needs to turn into a beautiful and tough protective covering. No mom will like her baby to have irritations and rashes. It is also better to consult a skin doctor to check out what essentials are required for your baby’s skin.
